What is a Poker Run? Actually, it is just like playing
Poker, except on Bikes. A nominal registration fee is
used to build the pot. One card is handed out at each
stop on the route, and the trading of two cards is
allowed at the end for a total of 5 to 7 cards,
depending on the number of stops. The winning hand receives half the
pot and the other half goes to the sponsored charity.
A Poker Run in or around Eureka Springs is extra
special. A combination of great scenery and curvy roads
make this one of the best destinations for bikers from
all over the country.
Most rides include going over the Beaver Bridge, a one
lane bridge with wooden blanks, and the Beaver Dam. Of
course, no ride would be complete without cruising
historic downtown Eureka Springs.
Sound like fun, come join us!
