Barbara Lightner

backcountry Tennessee a long time ago. Now she
lives in Eureka Springs where she writes slam
poetry exhorts to the old woman of me. She rides
her scooter around town to leave local
politicians honeysuckle verses from her head and
her heart.

teacher. In addition to preaching poetry at
hundreds of venues, Doug has also published
works as diverse as short stories and
standardized test questions. Doug is an odd

Mendy Knott
is a poet, creativity coach, and performance
artist. Mendy moved to Fayetteville from
Asheville, NC although her family roots are
Arkie from the 1800s. Mendy has multiple

experience of GLBTIS and their straight friends,
