go forth with new love and open arms for ourselves
and all people!

"I lay down this
challenge: Can you really believe in God or
really believe in Jesus if you do not also
believe in yourself? Your own self is the
basis of any understanding, belief, or love.
If you reject your own self, you reject the
possibility of any worthwhile achievement,
including genuine religious faith." from
Sex and the Sacred, p. 10
Daniel Helminiak
"People who are afraid of their sexuality
are constantly living in hiding from their
own selves. As a result, they are
handicapped in all their dealings with other
people and especially in their capacity to
love deeply. All interior growth is stunted
when people repress their affection, for
heartfelt passion is really the engine of
human achievement." from
What the Bible Really
Says about Homosexuality, p.

“Allowing
God to manifest within us requires that we
strive for the good of the whole with every
encounter, in every situation, with each
person we meet.”Deb

“A
sacred place is not necessarily a physical
locale but a community in which all people
are affirmed as God’s creation.” Deb
Starnes
"I
realized if I didn't step into the light of
truth my denial would drag me deeper into
the dark." Paula Sophia Schonauer
"Remember, Remember,
Re-member the body of Christ." Paula Sophia Schonauer
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only
light can do that. Hate cannot drive out
hate; only love can do that." -- Dr. Martin
